Resort House Rules
These House Rules are fundamental to preserving the exceptional standards of Atmosphere, Tranquility and Natural Beauty at Mango & Chili Resort Kapas Island. Adherence to these rules is a condition of stay for all Guests.
1. Conduct and Noise Management
- Quiet Hours:
To safeguard the Tranquility of all guests, mandatory quiet hours are enforced between 10:00 PM and 9:00 AM. During this period, noise levels must be minimized. - Unregistered Visitors:
For security and insurance purposes, all persons on the premises must be registered guests. Unregistered visitors must be authorized by reception and depart by 10:00 PM.
2. Environmental Stewardship and Safety
- Marine Protection:
The Coral Reefs are a protected natural resource. Guests are strictly prohibited from touching, standing on, collecting, or otherwise interfering with the marine life, coral, or shells. - Waste Disposal:
To maintain the pristine Natural Beauty of the island, all waste must be disposed of correctly in designated receptacles. Littering is strictly forbidden. - Fire Safety:
Due to extreme fire risk, the use of personal cooking devices, candles, or any unauthorized open flames is strictly prohibited within all accommodation units. - Electricity:
We are using solar energy provided by the government and we have to pay 6 times more than the normal charges at the mainland. Using excessive electricity might cause a black out. That’s why we cannot allow you to use Iron, Electric kettle or stove inside the rooms. So please save electricity. Your cooperation is much appreciated. - Water Supply:
We depend on rain water and our well. Especially in the dry season it may happen that there is no rain for a couple of month. So please safe water and help us avoid running out of water. - Drone Policy:
Use of drones is restricted to protect the Tranquility and privacy of other guests. Guests must obtain prior permission from Resort Management before operating any drone on or near the premises.
3. Resort Services and Property
Check-in/Check-out:
- Check-in time is 2:00 PM.
- Check-out time is 10:00 AM
- Failure to vacate the room by the specified check-out time may incur a late check-out fee or a charge equivalent to an additional night’s stay.
- Dining & Food:
Consumption of external food and beverages is generally restricted. We invite you to enjoy our delicious homemade food at the Beachfront Restaurant. Please preorder for dinner until 3:30pm at our reception. - Strictly no food in the rooms:
The jungle just begins next to our chalets
and the animals there have a very good
sense of smell.
So please, do not keep food, snacks, fruits,
etc. in the rooms. You will regret this.
We try our best to keep the animals away, but they
will find their way.
If you have any food you want to keep,
please contact our reception or kitchen
team.
We can save it for you at a safe place. We
even have fridges! - Damages and Liability:
Guests shall be held financially responsible for any damages or losses to resort property, furnishings, or rental equipment (Snorkeling equipment) directly attributable to their actions or negligence.
